Getting your Team Prepared for Covid-19

February 18th, 2021 - by Blueshark Design

After what has been a very challenging year for businesses, there is some light at the end of tunnel and it is hoped that in the coming weeks, dates as to when companies can start opening and operating again will be announced.

The pandemic has taught us a lot about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and it is expected that new rules and regulations will be stricter than ever before, with many organisations having to put new systems and procedures in place, in advance of opening their doors to staff and customers.

Be Prepared

One thing businesses can do before returning to their premises, is to be prepared. For example, arranging a deep clean and ensuring this is carried out by professional companies who are trained in both specialist cleaning and who can also offer training for staff members and a regular cleaning maintenance service.

Invest in Training

Courses such as the Decontamination and Infection Control course offered by UK Commercial Group Ltd, provide an intense two-day training programme at regular times throughout the year. This includes training on decontamination cleaning and the equipment needed, as well as how to use fogging machines correctly and safely, together with PPE training and sessions on Health & Safety insurance.

As we come out of lockdown and start to cautiously resume our pre-pandemic lives and working patterns, both staff and employers need to be more aware of the importance of hygiene and cleanliness and living and working in a cleaner and healthier environment. A better awareness and understanding of viruses and the consequences of not maintaining certain standards will benefit everyone and raise the levels of expectation of staff and the companies they work for.

By being prepared and investing in proper training now, businesses can look forward to a brighter, safer future.
